Vulnerability in iOS 7 Allows to Bypass Lockscreen

Apple claims to own eighty vulnerabilities in iOS 7, as well as the ability to bypass the lock screen in iOS 6.1.3, the same guy who found the previous vulnerability has found yet one more in iOS 7.

The vulnerability resides on users who lock their devices with a PIN code. The vulnerability works as given below:

  • Swipe up from the bottom of the Lock screen to open control centre and Launch the Clock application.
  • Open the Alarm section of the Clock application and Hold the power button down.
  • Quickly tap cancel the like a shot double-click the home button and hold down for a little longer on the second click.
  • From here you'll be able to access the camera and other applications.
